Basic Dosing Rules for All Pets
The general recommended CBD dosage is 0.25 milligrams (regular dosage) to 0.5 milligrams (strong dosage) per pound of pet’s weight. For example, if you want to administer regular dosage of CBD to your dog that’s weighing 40 pounds, you may multiply 40 (body weight) by 0.25 (regular dosage). That will give you 10 milligrams of CBD as the correct dosage to administer.

The dosing frequency depends on the symptoms and treatment needed by the pet. In managing pain or inflammation, for instance, the normal dosing frequency is every 8 hours, or as often as required. To manage anxiety, CBD can be given half an hour before the expected event including fireworks, traveling, thunderstorm, separation, and leaving the house.
For other CBD purposes, you can safely give your pet once or twice daily.
